They're like calzones but I think they're called Banati's. Pretty sure calzones are made with pizza dough but banatis are made with pastry. My husbands nonna fills them with potato and onion and broccoli etc. Is that what they're called and does anyone have a recipe or know a website where i can get one?

Can't be 100% sure but they may be called pastitsies they are made with filo pastry and are usually filled with ricotta or sometimes pea and ham but can be filled with anything you want....
