If you will name your own italian restaurant, what could it be and why?

We have our project in Culinary, it's about making a menu of a restaurant. The name of the restaurant should attract the customers in the first place that's why I want the name to be perfect. My specialties are pasta, and i guess it's an Italian Restaurant. We need to tell the history on how we came up with that name. So, I need an Italian name wherein when you translate it in english, it's sound good or delicious...

I'm looking forward to your answers. Thanks in Advance.

I would go for a city name like Tuscany. Not only is the history part of it easy enough to research you have a perfect in to incorporate a wine list into your concept ( a little extra credit will do wonders). Not only is Tuscan food and wines hot right now the concept would be a winner on or off the paper, If you would like to have more information on Tuscany and Tuscan wines check out my web site for food and beverage people

Reply:Italianos-bc its important 4 people to know what kind of reataurant it is. Alot of times we see rest. and cant tell by the name what kind it is.
Reply:Very toney and upscale restaurant with a health club adjoining, you could call " Spa Ghetti". or for a more homey type name you could go with " Linn Guinni's" or for a middle eastern flare, how about " Mustafa Cholli's". Or Maybe even a Dutch sounding name like " Riga Tony's"
Reply:If we were to open a restaurant, we might call it Jim and Mary's because that is our names.

My husband is from Italian immigrants, and is a great cook.

We might also name it after the street, the location, or something catchy: 19th Avenue Diner, the Italian Cook-house, or LaMoretti's Cafe.
Reply:La Cosa Nostra.
Reply:spagetti or leave
Reply:Alfredo's, it would attract me...
Reply:Vallatinos
Reply:Pastaria - a twist of pizzeria

because Semolina's is already taken
