Is it ok to name my daughters after italian dishes?

my wife is having triplets. I want to name them pizza, lasagna, and tortellini. my wife likes the names, but some of our friends have been critical. I just think they are nice names. is that terribly wrong?

Reply:If you want to seriously disturb your children and if you plan on Homeschooling them to keep them from being teased ok..but maybe just as middle names?
Reply:sure. i mean you can name your daughter anything you want but remind your self. if the name you choose was your name, how would you feel? also something you might want to consider is instead of having pizza, lasagna, and tortellini become their fist names, make they their middle name or nick name. this way they wont be made fun of when they start to go to school. i think its clever and cute! :)

People will be critical no matter what you name your children, for example one of my sons is named Nicholas, i have been criticized for that because because the rest of my boys names start with T. who cares what others think, these are your children. but if you are asking for advice on the names i am not to sure how feminine pizza sounds. good luck with your baby name search. and congrats on the triplets, you are going to have so much more to worry about soon, than peoples ignorance.
